And the english version, for our english readers :
When did you start blogging ?
I began blogging back in 2010/11. I didn’t really have any motivations other than a way to keep me busy and express myself. 2
At that time, did you think it would become your job ?
About a year after doing it, I started getting contacted to model for places and knew it could come up from there.
Was it a dream for you to become a model ?
Not so much a dream but looking back on it, it really is amazing that I’m able to despite my height.
Do you think your body has been an asset to distinguish yourself from others models ?
Absolutely. I’m curvy but only 5 ft 3in. People tell me I shoot tall but not really sure how. My body shape definitely is an advantage in this industry !
Have you always been comfortable with yourself ?
When I was young I wasn’t really. Everyone has insecurities, we’re all human but for the most part I learned at a young age that if you don’t like me, well then you don’t like me and that’s not my issue but yours.
Would you say that the fashion world is ready to change and accept other models than those wearing 24 ?
I definitely think society is in need for a change. It won’t happen over night but many bloggers and influencers are working hard on it daily, whether they think they’re truly contributing or not. 7
What are you fashion icons or references ?
Kanye West, love him.
What would be your biggest dream as a fashion blogger ?
Really to have my own line for all sizes and constantly create. Oh, and I have my Fall 15 collection with Addition Elle releasing in September ! I’m also working on a documentary about refugees who have fled to Lebanon.
Any words for Paulette readers ?
Work hard and be good to people, success will follow.
