For a capsule wardrobe, you will want to focus on good quality products that are going to last you a lot of wears. It’s important to maintain and take care of your clothes properly. Do NOT just throw them in the wash without checking the care instructions. Don’t take the advice of Declan from the movie ‘Leap Year’ and “just throw it in the wash, it’ll be grand.” It will not be grand this time around. Check to see if it needs to be hand washed. Is it able to go in the drying machine? Can it only be washed with like colors? You have to check all of this to ensure that your pieces will last a long time and not go to waste.
