Did you know you can now stay in a famous Breaking Bad house? It’s not the only TV place you can rent through Airbnb so take a look at 6 houses you can re-enact your favorite movie or TV show in.
1. The Breaking Bad house
Netflix created a stir in the Breaking Bad fandom when it announced an upcoming movie, El Camino: A Breaking Bad Movie. If you can’t wait for the release (in October), you can still take a few days off, gather your friends or family and rent the famous season 5 episode 3 house in which Walter White and Jesse Pinkman cook meth. It’s in New Mexico and only a 30-minute drive to other filming locations such as Walter and Jesse’s houses. The house can welcome 16+ guests but keep in mind, smoking is prohibited! (Also, meth is illegal.)
2. Tony Stark’s Avengers: Endgame cabin
If you’re a fan of the Marvel Cinematic Universe, chances are you cried during Avengers: Endgame. No spoilers but Tony Stark’s cabin was the background to some bittersweet and sad scenes. Good news, you can rent it on Airbnb and rewatch the movie or walk in the same room Robert Downey Jr. and Gwyneth Paltrow did. It’s in Fairburn, Georgia and sleeps up to 6 people.
3. Bella Swan’s house in Twilight
Twilight was a huge cultural phenomenon, and very hard to miss if you were alive in the late 2000s – early 2010s. If you’re nostalgic for that era, or just always wondered what Charlie and Bella Swan’s house actually looked like, you’re in luck. No Edward Cullen around but the 1930s Swan house can be rented for a nice 10-people stay in Saint Helens, Oregon.
4. The Interview with the Vampire house
Loving vampires but not the sparkly Twilight version? Then go back in time to this 1994 classic movie. You probably remember that Brad Pitt, Tom Cruise and Kirsten Durnst stay in New Orleans. Well, now you can stay in the house that was used for filming these scenes. It’s also within walking distance of the French Quarter so it’s perfect to visit New Orleans, Louisiana in a group (of 6).
5. The Entourage LA house
Far from the creepy vampire houses, look at this sun-kissed LA villa (known as the Sophia Villa). It’s the one from the Entourage finale and movie, but it also hosted the Real Housewives of Berverly Hills and the Bachelorette, a testimony to its luxury feeling. The renting available is a guesthouse for 2, so it’s perfect for honeymooners would want to take a swim in a beautiful pool in Downton LA.
6. The Definitely, Maybe room
If you fell in love with Ryan Reynolds in Definitely, Maybe, you’re not alone. You can stay in the room that was used as a set for some of the scenes with his daughter (played by Abigail Breslin). It has also been used in Solitary Man with Michael Douglas and Danny DeVito and the TV series Damages with Glenn Close. It’s in Brooklyn, so use this opportunity to visit New York City, and come back at night to take plenty of pictures of this room to make any Reynolds fan jealous.
